We have evacuated all of our adoptable animals

With the exception of a few who will stay in the care of their foster family,
the adoptable animals were moved August 29th to SPCA of Texas in Dallas.

Members from the SPCA of Texas flew to New Orleans, helped load the animals into climate controlled trucks and then turned right around and drove the animals back to Dallas. This incredible act of generosity freed our staff to remain in the area to assist with the City Assisted Evacuation and respond to animal emergency and rescue calls.

Our heart felt gratitude for their continued support and partnership! We know our adoptables are in good, caring hands and we couldn't be more thankful.
 
And a HUGE thanks to all the breed specific groups who took their breed of choice out of our shelter on such short notice! We truly appreciate your help and your love for your breed.
