NEW ORLEANS MAN
KILLS OWN DOG IN
A HORRIFIC ACT OF ANIMAL CRUELTY
Seeking Supporters in Lakeview
Cruelty Case Tomorrow (Tues. 12/2)
Nearly a year
ago, the LA/SPCA investigated the
case of Fabian Mumme, a Lakeview
resident, who brutally axed to death
“Wolfie” one of his dogs. The case
was scheduled for trial on October
31st but was continued as the
defendant asked for a jury trial. It
has been rescheduled for tomorrow,
Tuesday, December 2nd at
11 a.m. in the Criminal Court
Building at the corner of Tulane and
Broad. It will be held in Judge
Arthur Hunter’s Court, Section K,
located on the second floor of the
court building.
The Assistant District Attorney
office is again asking for LA/SPCA
supporters to be in attendance as
they feel it is important for Judge
Hunter and the jurors to visually
see how important animal cruelty is
by filling the courtroom with
LA/SPCA supporters wearing logo-ed
shirts. We are inviting supporters
to attend the trial and encouraging
you to wear a LA/SPCA shirt if you
have one. We are also asking for
your help forwarding this message to
anyone who you think might be able
to join us tomorrow.
Here is the original press release
to refresh your memory about the
case, and thank you to all who
attended last month.
Update 12/02/08 - Trial Continued to
Monday, December 8, 10 a.m.
