Show and Tail

We offer three unique topics. Teachers may choose which presentation they would prefer to share with their class.

  • Responsible Pet Ownership
Discusses the time and care required to properly raise a healthy, happy pet. Includes
a discussion on the importance of spaying and neutering dogs and cats. Includes a
    20-minute video.

  • Responsible Pit Bull Ownership
This presentation educates students on the facts of the Pit Bull breed, how to be a responsible owner, and how to help others become ambassadors for the breed.
    For 5th grade and up.

  • Being Safe Around Pets
Discusses appropriate times and proper ways to approach both familiar and unfamiliar animals. Includes a demonstration on how to react when approached by a strange dog. Includes a 20-minute video.

  • Throwaways
An edgy, at times disturbing, presentation concerning society's lack of respect for pets and "throwaway mentality." For 5th grade and up. Includes a 15-minute video.

The presenters will bring their own dogs to act as demonstration dogs. These dogs have been temperament tested and health checked. Teachers can feel comfortable having them in their classroom.

If you are interested in offering one of these important presentations to your students, please contact us at 368-5191, ext. 207,  or send us an email, to schedule a visit .

We ask that you limit the group size to a maximum of 30 students. We look forward to arranging a visit to your school!
