Seen
here are only a few of the animals we have for adoption. If
you are interested in a pet seen here, you MUST come to the shelter and
bring the animal's ID#. Because of the volume of animals we deal
with, there is no guarantee the animal you are interested in is
still here. We have over 100 adoptable dogs and cats on
a regular basis and more arrive daily. To see all the wonderful
animals available for adoption, please visit

Click
on the I HAVE A HOME heart to see a few of the animals who have
found homes through our shelter. Animals we have had the
privilege of giving a second, sometimes a third and even fourth,
chance. This was possible thanks to those who have stood with us
and helped us, help them: our volunteers, our donors, our staff.

To see all of the animals for adoption visit
1700 Mardi Gras
Blvd. |
The animals and/or descriptions seen on this page are thanks to a
volunteer effort aimed at helping the adoptable animals at the
Louisiana SPCA be seen. If you would like to be
involved with this very special project, please contact our
Volunteer Program Coordinator.
All interested must have submitted a
volunteer
application, completed the volunteer orientation, be over 18
year-old or a
Care
Cadet whose completed all training and been signed-off to
work independently with the animals.
