Chriss Knight

Chriss is an award-winning television journalist who has lived in multiple cities before she, her husband, two cats and guinea pig called New Orleans home. She puts her love for animals and her Broadcast Journalism degree to good use as host for seasons 1 and 2 of "The Real Wild Animals of New Orleans", a telly-award winning Audubon Nature Institute web series. Currently, Chriss co-host NOLA Marketplace on WGNO and WNOL while managing social media for various businesses. Chriss is highly involved in charity events throughout Greater New Orleans and holds the Louisiana SPCA dear to heart, which is why you will find her at many of our events. She and her hamster, Hampton rocked the runway at the Louisiana SPCA’s Alegria Fashion Show. She has co-emceed NOLA on Tap and Howling Success and served as Co-Chair for the 2015 Gala. Chriss has found a forever home supporting the animals and mission of the Louisiana SPCA.

Andrew Ward

Artist, academic, & advocate Andrew Ward stumbles across New Orleans stages as an emcee at everything from burlesque shows to classic church weddings, Urdu-folk-fusion bands to the Running of the Bulls. He is the co-founder of the International High School of New Orleans and the HIV Awareness Music Festival - Entusi held every autumn in Uganda. His newest endeavor is the publication of his adults-only children's book, "A Bourbon Street Sojourn" being released on April 15th. He is an avid supporter of human rights and the the humane treatment of animals. He shares his home with two shelter mutts and one rescue cat named Mohandas.
