The Louisiana SPCA Salutes:

Pierre Smith

2nd Deputy Chairdog 2008,
Chosen through random drawing, Dog Day Afternoon 2007

Pierre Smith is a miniature poodle with a big sense of fun and an even bigger personality. His favorite pastimes include playing with his best friend and mom, Candace, and chasing the ducks, rabbits, egrets and other visitors from around the house. But his interest in animals is not limited to the living and breathing variety; Pierre’s favorite playmates are his stuffed animals of all kinds. Pierre spends a lot of his time playing and exercising to keep healthy. He knows healthy dogs are prettier and more energetic, and make better companions and caregivers for their people. Pierre would like others to know that a healthy diet is essential to a long and good life, as is being active and happy. He hopes all dogs find loving and healthy homes to be a part of, and that they have as many animals and people to play with as he does.
