Dog Day Afternoon 2008 is more than a 1.8-mile dog walk/run around Audubon Park. Hours of wholesome family fun surround this 26th annual Community Pack Presence, with music by Fleur de Lis, a food court, local animal loving vendors and artists, dog obedience demonstrations, Doggie Contests, and more. Walk Registrants are “sponsored” for the walk, with proceeds benefiting the programs and services of the Louisiana SPCA.

Meet the Chaidogs of Dog Day Afternoon 2008

The 2008 Chairdogs raised a combined total of $33,779 for Dog Day Afternoon 2007!!!

Dog Day walk registration:

Adult pre-registration is $20, day-of is $25
Child (12 yrs. and younger) pre-registration is $15, day-of is $20
All registrations include an event t-shirt and food/beverage tickets.
 

Doggie Contests, $5 registration fee:
Frisbee Catch
Owner/pet Look Alike
Silly Pet Tricks
Shelter Alumni -- Any dog, from any shelter,
can strut their stuff and compete
 for the titles of Best Smile, Greatest Wiggle and Most Poise.
 

Pre-Registration closes at Noon on Friday, April 4th.

All registrations received online after Monday, March 31st, will be at Will Call.

Walk registrants are sponsored either as individuals or as part of a team for the walk/run. Participating in the walk/run is not required to come out and enjoy the day.
