Chef Glen Hogh found his passion at an early age.  His parents exposed him to great restaurants thus allowing him to develop a mature palate at a young age, and he continued his love within the vibrancy of New Orleans, the people, and their passion for food and living. In 1998 he started working at Vega Tapas Café, where he found a perfect marriage between Louisiana’s indigenous foods and Mediterranean cuisine.  “The spices, the foods, the cultures, and the shared joy of living of both seem as a soul match.” Chef Hogh purchased the restaurant from namesake & founding Chef Alison Vega in 2003, determined to carry on the tradition that she began.  Drawn to history, he further enhances his knowledge and appreciation of Spanish culture, food and ingredients, by annual trips to Spain.  When not cooking he enjoys traveling, his four-legged ‘daughter’, an albino rescue Weimaraner named Powder, and is pursuing aviation training.

Cheryl Lemoine - An animal lover since a mere tot, Cheryl Lemoine has had numerous four-legged companions throughout the years. Currently she is the proud mama to three rescue dogs (an 8-year old mix named Libby, a 5-pound party chihuahua named Cosmo and Bacchus, a pit bull puppy who recently wandered into her yard and her heart) and a 15-year-old Persian-Himalayan kitty. On a professional level, Cheryl has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, advertising, event planning and public relations. An LSU graduate with a BA in Journalism, she has held several marketing director positions, and was the managing editor for New Orleans Magazine before opening her own PR & Marketing consulting business, which specializes in "lifestyle" marketing representing mainly restaurant, wine hotel, tourist attractions, and fashion clients. She has also been actively involved with many local non-profit organizations including Ad Club of New Orleans, Southern Animal Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Share Our Strength, and Meals on Wheels among others.
