Residents of the 70117 zip code can now get their dogs spayed or neutered for FREE through our S/NAP program. In addition to free surgery, dogs will also receive a microchip and vaccinations. Contact our Community Clinic to set up your appointment!

Free Spay/Neuter Surgery for Community Cats in 70114, 70131, and 70119

 Thanks to a generous grant from PetSmart Charities, the LA/SPCA is happy to provide free spay/neuter surgery for outdoor cats in zip codes 70114, 70131, and 70119! Due to high intake numbers for outdoor cats in these areas, we're targeting these zip codes in an effort to reduce intake and euthanasia of outdoor cats.

Community Cats provide many benefits to a neighborhood, but the biggest challenge is keeping their population in check. The answer to this is Trap-Neuter-Return, a program that focuses on controlling population growth as opposed to removing cats. This proactive approach enhances the cats lives while also reducing euthanasia rates at area shelters. You can get involved by fixing cats in your neighborhood, and now it's more affordable than ever.
