In Memory of Rowdy

We just wanted to thank everyone for his/her wishes and prayers. It helps tremendously to know how much Rowdy was loved.

Now we are just trying to figure out how to get through this when he was such an ingrained part of our lives. The saying is true that you don't know what you have until it is gone. He is in our thoughts constantly. And we miss him so deeply. He was so much more than a family pet; he was family, our first baby.

Thinking back on all of the memories, we know that he lived a full and happy life. Rowdy had so many experiences. When he was just a pup, I would take him swimming by the bayou every day. Then as he grew, he was fishing, crabbing, canoeing, running free in the marshes, always at Rusty's side. Rusty would not take a trip to the store without him. Recently he enjoyed leading the way in front of the horses as we would ride. He was always there for us. His footprints are all over our yard and forever on our hearts.

We truly believe that he is in heaven; for we know that he had a soul and we thank God for letting us be a part of his life for 8.5 years.

Sadly missed by his family!
