We are proud New Orleanians! In addition to being located right over the bridge, we take every chance we get to embrace the wonderful culture around us. Just see for yourself...

Local Focus

In New Orleans, our pets are a part of our culture as much as anything else. And for more than 125 years, the Louisiana SPCA has been an advocate for all our furry friends across the city. Follow our Lead and show the characters of New Orleans you care by supporting the Louisiana SPCA.

From spay/neuter to innovative adoption programs and humane education, the Louisiana SPCA is at the forefront of the four-legged parade. GET INVOLVED for an experience of your life!

You are cordially invited to the 37th Annual Howling Success Patron Party & Gala. On November 7, the Hyatt Regency’s Celestin Ballroom will transform into an evening celebrating a groovy decade with a 70's theme! Howling Success is the area’s most unique fundraiser and our largest tribute to the more than 33,000 animals that come through our doors every year.
