Gold is a frequent contributor to “Louisiana Eats!” with Poppy Tooker, and a monthly correspondent for NolaVie on WWNO’s “All Things New Orleans.”

A French Quarter resident, Brenda is an international wine, spirits and cuisine judge. She was a founder of the New Orleans Wine and Food Experience and continues to serve the organization in program development. In addition, she is a board member of the Museum of the American Cocktail.

Nora McGunnigle writes about beer, booze, and food in New Orleans, Louisiana, and the Gulf Coast. He is also considered one of the foremost professional wine judges in the US, being invited to judge more than 11 wine competitions each year.

Sal Mortillaro

Sal’s love for Bloody Mary’s is second only to beer as he is a National ranked beer judge in the BJCP program and an award winning home-brewer. He is also a beer reviewer/judge for The Beer Connoisseur magazine. Sal is a member of the Mystic Krewe of Brew Homebrew Club where he serves as the Educational Director and occasional Vice President. He is also a founding board member of The Bayou State Homebrew Competition Circuit and is the competition coordinator for the NOLA On Tap (benefiting the Louisiana SPCA), Bayou Beer Fest (benefiting various veteran’s organizations) and Larry Fest (benefiting the St. Tammany Humane Society) charity beer events.

In 2003, Ann hosted a one-year celebration of the New Orleans Cocktail Tour that she founded. With her vision and tenacity, she has grown that small gathering of cocktail lovers into Tales of the Cocktail®, the world’s premier cocktail trade event. Ann provides the strategic direction for the Tales of the Cocktail® brand, working directly with bartenders, sponsors and media outlets for the year-round events and programs, including Tales on Tour, Tales 365 and the NOCCPS. When Ann isn’t spending time coordinating each year’s events, she can be found with her husband Paul and the official Tales of the Cocktail® mascot, Delta Dawg.
