Youth Programs

Educating the next generation about taking care of animals is important to our mission. While our youth programs are on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope to bring them back soon. Please keep checking our website for any updates.

Is your child 16 or 17-years-old? If so, check out our volunteer opportunities!

Humane education reinforces character development skills such as kindness, compassion, empathy and responsibility. From caring for the family pet to taking action to prevent animal suffering, students become active participants in helping animals and others at an early age. Enhancing a student’s understanding that animals are living, feeling beings to be treated with respect and compassion is a very important lesson in empathy and respect for others. Educating the next generation about taking care of animals is important to our mission.
